My dad’s family was French. That’s where my last name came from. It used to be spelled Campeau, but when they moved over here for some reason they dropped the ‘e’ which gives it the true French spelling. That’s why no one can pronounce my last name.

My mother’s side is Scottish. My grandmother actually came directly from Scotland as a young child. She was just a little sawed off sucker. My mother’s dad was also from that area. He lived as a gypsy. They travelled all over this country and he was always trying to sell something to somebody. They got divorced. After her second divorce, my grandmother moved to California. She was the housekeeper for Vic Morrow the actor from the TV show, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. – Matt
